We do not have to give a refund if you change your mind about a purchase - so please choose carefully. If the product you have bought is faulty, we will provide a remedy as required by the Consumer Guarantees Act. If customers return the item simply for personal reasons, as per our return policy, 20% of the price will be deducted as the restocking fee.
RETURNS
1 Change of mind returns
If you wish to return an item because you have changed your mind about your purchase, T mart Living will offer you an exchange voucher or refund provided that:
(1)You return the item/s within 7 days of purchase;
(2)You produce either your original T Mart Living register receipt or other adequate proof of purchase;
(3)The item is in a re-saleable condition, meaning that:
If all these requirements are not satisfied T Mart Living reserves the right not to offer an exchange voucher or refund for change of mind returns.
2 Goods on which a change of mind return is not available
2.1 Man-made damage:
Man-made damage can be defined as damage to the appearance, performance, and function of the product when consumers change the original state of the product. Man-made damage includes improper use, regardless of whether the product comes with the manual or not. You should consult us when you don't know how to use it. However, we will only give you some suggestions to fix.
2.2 Been assembled, set up or used products:
All products need to be inspected before assembly, setting or use. Once assembly (including partial assembly) is started, goods cannot be returned, such as furniture, gazebos, etc.
2.3 Special Products:
T Mart Living will not accept the return of items from the following categories under the change of mind returns policy under any circumstances:
(1) Edible products;
(2) Personal hygiene products, such as bedsheet, duvet, blanket, bidet and underwear etc;
(3) Products that are easily damaged due to improper operation, such as fishing rods, gazebos, and inflatable boats;
(4) Customize product and Per-order items;
(5) Promotional products, such as those sold with free shipping, or clearance products;
(6) Tools (All items in the Tools Category on our website), such as Jump-starter, drill;
(7) The electrical products that have been dismantled by yourself.
These products can still be returned if they are faulty, not fit for purpose, or do not match the sample or description.
3 Other Returns
T mart Living will accept product returns within 7 days of purchase and provide you with an exchange voucher, refund or repair where:
(a)The product is faulty or is not of acceptable quality; or
(b)The product is not fit for its intended purpose; or
(c)The product does not match the sample or our description; and
(d)You can present your T Mart Living register receipt or other adequate proof of purchase.
T Mart Living may elect to return the product to the manufacturer’s repair agent to determine the nature of the problem. T Mart Living reserves the right not to offer an exchange voucher, refund or repair where the item fault is a result of misuse or neglect.
Please be aware that data (including, but not limited to, images, music, and video) may be lost during the repair process of electrical and electronic products. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all personal data is deleted before returning to T Mart Living.
Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair goods.
4 Proof of Purchase
Returns, refunds, exchanges or repair requests must be accompanied by any one of the following proof of purchase documents: (1)The T Mart Living register receipt or Eftpos receipt: Register receipt or a clear photo of the full T Mart Living register receipt, which must include the barcode; Online Tax Invoice; online proof of purchase can also include Aferpay and Paypal statements; Or (2)Financial statement: such as a credit card statement or a bank statement (however, when the proof of purchase does not clearly itemize the goods, more than one type of proof of purchase may be required).
5 The Cost to Return
You should return and deliver the goods to our store, no matter how you get the products, such as pick-up, delivery by us, or courier. Meanwhile, the customer must bear the round-trip cost.
6 Refund Channel
Refunds will only be issued using your original payment method (including the same card as the purchase); Gift cards are not redeemable for cash.
7 Buy Now Pay Later facilities
If the purchase was made through a buy now pay later facility, the refunded money will be returned to the account holder, and the balance will then be adjusted accordingly ( The amount refunded is what we received, which has already been minus the service fee charged by the payment service providers). 8 How to return and refund
you must submit an application through our website if you want to return goods.
(1)Submit a request email and wait for the reply.
(2)You can drop off or courier the product once your request has been approved. You can leave after dropping it off. If you choose to return by courier, you need to bear the risk of damage on the way.
(3) After checking, Once the product meets both the criteria of this Returns Policy above and the Warning in the product description, we will refund you, it usually takes 15 working days.
(4) However, if the product returned does not meet the criteria of this Returns Policy above or the Warning in the product description, the product will be returned to you again at your expense. The product will be discarded after 30 days from receipt if we are not provided with further shipping fees and a return shipping address.
SECTION C: CONSUMER GUARANTEES
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
When returning a product, you will be asked for information that is relevant to your return, or to satisfy legislative requirements. If you do not provide this information, then we may be unable to process your return.
When returning a product, with adequate proof of purchase, you will be asked for your signature as authorization of the return transaction. If you do not have adequate proof of purchase, you will be asked to provide a photo or other suitable identification containing your full name, signature, and expiration date, so that your name and signature can be verified. The identification information you provide may be accessed by authorized T Mart Living team members and authorized third parties for the purpose of fraud investigations and fraud protection activities. Information collected will be securely stored for a reasonable period of time may be used for the purposes of research and analysis and may be disclosed to Government departments upon request, where required or authorized by law.
Non-T Mart Living branded products may not be accepted for return without adequate proof of purchase. This policy does not override T MART Living’s statutory obligations, under the Consumer guarantees T Mart Living reserves the right to assess the condition and age of returned goods prior to providing a repair, exchange or refund. This may result in a repair, exchange, or refund being refused.
